Dark Shadows Review

Barnabas (Johnny Depp) has the world at his feet-or at least the town of Collinsport, Maine. The master of Collinwood Manor, Barnabas is rich, powerful and an inveterate playboy...until he makes the grave mistake of breaking the heart of Angelique Bouchard (Eva Green). A witch, in every sense of the word, Angelique dooms him to a fate worse than death: turning him into a vampire, and then burying him alive. Two centuries later, Barnabas is inadvertently freed from his tomb and emerges into the very changed world of 1972. He returns to Collinwood Manor to find that his once-grand estate has fallen into ruin. The dysfunctional remnants of the Collins family have fared little better, each harboring their own dark secrets. -- (C) Warner Bros.

I think Dark Shadows is a good movie. It has something that you can't forget. Okay, maybe some critics say that it has random focus of plot, but i think they can mixed drama, romance, and mystery in one un-bore film. Otherwise, Johny Depp is starring this movie (i admit that the reason i watch this film is because of him) there are Chloe Moretz, Eva Green and Helena Bonham Carter too.
The beginning is very dark and horror but in the end, it goes romantic and very sad (i can't forget when Angelique gives her heart--literally to Barnabas! it's very sad!) And how Vicky and Barnabas ended up. It's very romantic.
So, i think it's a recommended one against it's critics. It's better for you to watch it yourself, than believe someone's reviews without seen it, right? :)
